RV Park & Campground in Lava Hot Springs

Excellent staff and service from reservation, to check in, to check out! The owner was friendly and considerate. Sites & bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. Nice location next to the creek, and the perfect, convenient, distance from town. Would definitely recommend this campsite.

This place is great. The staff is phenomenal to work with and will do everything they can to accommodate you. The prices are much cheaper than Koa in town as they do not have full hook ups but the price is reflecting of that. As for a campground to go to with a great staff.

We love this place. The staff is friendly and great to work with. There are several families in our group and we are always able to camp together and have plenty of room as all the trailor and camping spaces are very large. The spaces are grass and not dirt which is great for the toddlers and there moms.

We had a tent site during our stay. It was a great place! Yes there were trains that we could hear at night but you can hear those no matter where you camp in Lava Hot Springs. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the owners and workers were extremely nice and helpful.

Whether you are a new visitor or an old friend, we welcome you to our campground and will do our best to assure your stay is enjoyable.

Nestled quietly and snugly along the Portneuf River and located half a mile outside the quaint village of Lava Hot Springs, Portneuf Bend Campground offers a country camping experience with plenty of room for fun and games. At the campground, day or night, enjoy the soothing sounds of the Portneuf River flowing alongside or close to your camp site.
Cast out your fishing pole! There are plenty of fish in the river! Just remember, a valid Idaho fishing license is required. At night, sit by the campfire and relax with friends from far and near as you enjoy the star studded sky and listen to the whistle of the trains passing by. Whatever you may enjoy doing is never far from the Portneuf Bend Campground.
